Hydrophillic Board Store Opens
Robbie's been a busy boy. Organising Side Slippin, writing stuff and shooting stuff.
Words and pics below from The Wardo.
'The Hydrophillic Board Store opening / art show kicked off another boutique style store in the surfing mecca of Australia, Torquay on Saturday June 4th 2011.
It was a fun event, lots of killer art, the Thomas Boards looked amazing and Tyler Hatzikian was a good dude chillin with a few beers and talking story with all the crusty sea dogs including resident foam carvers Chizza and co of South Coast Surfboards.
Artists featured Ryan Heywood, Luke Taaffee, Ed Sloane, Nick Morris, Rob Weeks and Xavier Davies hanging in the glassing factory added a unique feel to the often stale galleries the brain was over come with the intoxicating resin, foam and paint fumes running through the air.
Located beside on Baines Crescent, be sure to drop by and pick up a coffee at Soul Fuel and sled on the way for your next shred.'

TCSS is WTW (Waiting for The Wave)
Just last week TCSS installed some work at WTW in Aoyama, Tokyo. Took a few hours to secure the wooden panels up the wall. We came back early next day to paste up Mega Bodhi in the stores entrance.
Later that night we returned for an opening 'Reception' (as Japanese like to call it).
