I got sent this sweet little ditty of Kameron Brown via filmmaker Taylor Larison. I met Taylor in Noosa, super lovely guy and super talented videographer.

Side Slippin 2011

TCSS is stoked to once again support Side Slippin. On Saturday 14th May bring your logs, quads, alaias, twinnies basically anything that floats down to Lorne, Vico. Get your surf on or just kick some tyres.

The expression session will run for 2-3hours as the tide fills in with a no heat format. Fellow surfers ride shred craft along the iconic peeling Lorne Point waves with tunes grooving from the beach and dudes hooting on the reef.

At the conclusion of the surf session there will be a peer vote for:

- Raddest move

- Most stoked

- Best overall performance

- Board art

- Loudest Yeeeew

Regsiter here or via their facebook page. We'll be following up with more Side Slippin info in the coming weeks. With artists lineup and full music lineup still to be announced.

Dings Dale

Kerry Down is slowly shooting his way through Dings' vintage board collection... this week he has for your viewing pleasure a revolutionary Custom board from Dale Surfboards. Big fat stringer on a shape similar to the mini Simmonds that are so popular again.

Allowed in the Manly line up 1967 through '68.

aloha

Kerry Down is back home from his Hawaiian sojourn... a few pics and some words from KD give the flavour...

"Hawaii is like a dream from when you land till you leave... the ocean is warm and smooth but intense and the lifestyle so laid back you forget that you're really there.

Even paddling into solid waves at Pipeline and Backdoor you feel calm and relaxed (maybe that's how Gerry Lopez made it look so easy) I bodysurfed Keiki shorey everyday and took photos... surfed backdoor, pipe and off the wall about 8 times and visited my old friend Rocky Point on a few occasions as well. All in all it was an awesome trip and something I'll be doing every year... Loved it!"

....so thirsty right now
